ABOUT MiA
MiA stands for Minorities In Anthropology. We are a group of students majoring and minoring in Anthropology who team creatively to work for more representation of historically underrepresented scholars. We welcome students from other disciplines and non-minority-identified ally-members.
We are students on the unceded lands of the Uypi Tribe of the Awawas Nation, at present the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band. ​
Our Mission
Our mission is to create a collaborative and supportive community that helps underrepresented students navigate the world of Anthropology and encourage them during their studies.
